Kim started her journey in the life insurance industry in 1991, where she first was first exposed to financial services. With 14 years of securities licensing, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.
Kim received her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Finance from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Her professional credentials include the designations of CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter) and AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist). She is licensed to offer a wide range of financial services, including Series 7, 65, 63, and 66, as well as Life, Health, Annuity, and Long-Term Care insurance.
Growing up in the Hershey, PA area, Kim has always had a passion for helping others. She currently resides in St. Petersburg, FL, where she enjoys a variety of hobbies, including golf, reading, board games, video games, dining out, pickleball, kayaking, hiking, and trivia. Her competitive spirit is evident in her long history of playing women's ice hockey, where she served as the captain of her teams and was the leading scorer in the league for several years.
Kim made the decision to launch Lutes Wealth Planning to provide a better experience for her clients. By starting her brand, she is now has the opportunity to offer a wider range of services and leverage technology in order to support her goals of comprehensive financial planning. This move will allow her to focus more on building strong, lasting relationships with her clients and help more people, both clients and teammates.
